How to use COMC images in your blog listing
If you are writing a blog post or creating an eBay listing and want to include any
of the images from our site, you are welcome to do so. We have even made it really
easy for you. Here are the steps you need to do.
-
Go to any of our card details pages.
Here is an example.
- Hover the mouse over the image
- Click the Share link
- Click the "HTML Markup" link
- Use Ctrl+C to copy the HTML code to the clipboard
- Use Ctrl+V to paste the HTML code in your blog post
This should paste HTML that looks something like this.
<a href="/Cards/Baseball/1993/Finest_Refractors/112/Kirby_Puckett_AS/2029055">
<img src="https://img.comc.com/i/Baseball/1993/Topps-Finest---Base---Refractor/112/Kirby-Puckett.jpg?id=7157071e-6316-4457-b13b-27dd162f0a0e&size=original" alt="1993 Topps Finest Refractor #112 - Kirby Puckett - Courtesy of COMC.com" /></a>
When you preview your blog post or eBay listing it should look like this.
Attribution
We would appreciate it if you also add some additional attribution somewhere on
your page. It can be something very simple like this.
Images courtesy of COMC.com
Here is the HTML for you to do that.
<em>Images courtesy of <a href="https://www.comc.com">COMC.com</a></em>
If you want to use any of our images without including the hyperlink we provided in the HTML code provided for you, you are required to include the above attribution.
Tip
If you just want a thumbnail, you can replace the original with bigthumb.

...size=bigthumb"...
