Welcome to COMC where you have the flexibility of selling your valuable items on the COMC marketplace or transferring them to an eBay auction. COMC’s suite of consignment services is centered around 4 main service levels: Standard, Select, Elite, and eBay Auctions. Understanding the advantages of each service and its features will help you decide how to get the most out of COMC.
No matter which consignment service you choose, every item you send to COMC includes actual images (front and back), catalog identification, and 90 days of free storage. A full list of the advantages of consigning with COMC can be found on the COMC Selling Page.
COMC Consignment: Standard and Select
Standard and Select services are the two most economical ways to submit cards for consignment. These services are designed for submitting cards in bulk: a 20 card minimum for Standard, and a 10 card minimum for Select. These services include front and back images of your actual cards but are of lower resolution than our Elite Service photos.
Standard: 16-week submission turnaround. The cost is $0.50 per card, with a minimum submission quantity of 20 items.
Select: 2-week submission turnaround. Cost is $1 per card, and has a minimum submission quantity of 10 items.
Cards submitted with Standard and Select have a maximum list price on COMC of $100. For cards valued at over $50, we recommend our Elite Service. At our discretion, we may upgrade Standard and Select cards valued above $100 to Elite.
*NOTE: For extra thick or heavy cards the Oversized Cards + $3 additional fee may be applied at our discretion.
Beginning 5/1/2021 all incoming Standard and Select submissions have guaranteed turnaround times. Any item deposited to your account after its due date will automatically have its processing fee discounted by 50% for Select, and 20% for Standard. These times are calculated via business days (M-F), not calendar days, weekends, or holidays.
Note: Beginning 9/23/2021 our Select consignment service received a new upgrade. We now offer 50% off consignments for all newly released trading cards (within 90 days of the hobby release date) as part of our ongoing COMC Fresh Pulls promotion. The discount does not apply to the top-loader removal fee or the missing/incorrect paperwork fee. COMC Elite Service
COMC Elite is the ideal choice for listing cards valued at over $50 and includes industry-leading, high-resolution photos. Elite gives you several options for selling your cards: COMC Fixed Price, Take Offers on COMC or transferring items to an eBay Auction. In short, Elite offers the most flexibility of any COMC service. A full list of the seller advantages included with Elite can be found on the COMC Elite Page.

COMC Auctions on eBay
This service is ideal for sellers who wish to send cards directly to the COMC eBay Store as a 7-day, $0.99 no-reserve auction. COMC Auctions on eBay are for cards valued at more than $50 and put your investment-grade trading cards in front of collectors and bidders worldwide. COMC Seller Fees Overview
Please ensure your account is funded with sufficient store credit to pay for the processing fees of the batch at the time of submission. Processing fees are charged when any item from your batch is ready to be added to your inventory. If the total processing fees charged for a given deposit would reduce your available store credit balance to less than $0.00, the items scheduled to be added to your account will instead be placed on hold.
Once your account is funded to return it to good standing, your items on hold will be added to your account within a couple hours. At the end of each day, if your account has any pending transactions and is not in good standing, the due dates on all of your pending submissions will be postponed one business day.
Transactions Fees:
- Fixed-Price Transaction Fee: 5% of the sale price
- Auction Fee: 3.5% of the final price ($3.50 minimum/$35 maximum)
Cash-Out Fees:
- Cash-Out Fee: 10%
- PayPal Cash-Outs less than $250 Store Credit: add $1
- Checks sent within the USA: add $3
- Checks sent outside the USA: add $10
Fees for International Users:
Note: The actual quantity of items received must be within 20% of the specified quantity or an Incorrect Paperwork Fee of $5.00 will be added to the processing fee.
Store Credit Alternative To Fees
Upon payment by the buyer, you will receive your proceeds minus the transaction fee in the form of COMC Store Credit. You are welcome to use this store credit to purchase more items on the COMC marketplace or cover future processing fees.
If you wish to instead cash out your store credit, you will be able to do so by requesting a PayPal deposit or a check. You also have the option to redeem your COMC store credit in exchange for Blowout Cards gift certificates. More detail about each of these options can be found under Cash Out Store Credit in your COMC dashboard.
Other COMC Services
Storage For Trading Cards:
- Free for the first 90 days with the original consignor
- Free for items with an Asking Price of $0.75 or less
- 1¢ per item with an Asking Price over $0.75 per month
- Billed on the first day of every month
Enhanced Security Storage:
- Applies only to items with a List Price of more than $50
- 1¢ per $1,000 in Total List Price per day
- Billed on the first day of every month
